Help for Self-Mutilating

Have you ever purposely cut yourself in answer to intense emotional pain, then felt shameful  about it  after .  These are brief calls designed to help you access the skills when your mind is coming up blank.  The therapists also enter in a weekly consultation group session where they learn more about the therapy and ensure they are supporting each other in practicing it correctly.

Self mutilation can feel effective in the second, but chances are that you experience intense shame afterwards.  DBT is the most evidence-based therapy to help you in your attempt to regain your sense of self control.
